About Mathew Hasker I was born Mathew Timothy Hasker in Portsmouth, England in July 1983 into a relatively musical family, especially on my mothers side. I started playing the piano at the age of 5, and went on to play with keyboards and music technology at 11. I tried the Violin, unfortunately that didn't work out very well. After picking up the drums, I joined a rock / metal band, jamming most weekends. From there, I played the drums in another band at secondary school where I studied GCSE Music and recieved an "A" for both composing and performing. From there I went to music college where I joined a rock band for the first time on keyboards, playing on gigs both in and out of college. I now study Jazz and Blues with my piano tutor Terry while continuing to compose music under the pseudonym Freqmaster. Which leads me onto... |
